Learn about the Early Start Program – California’s early intervention program – and how it can benefit you and your child (ages 0 to 3)! This presentation also covers the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP), which plays an important role in early intervention service planning for your child. The Early Start program is a multi-agency effort managed by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and the California Department of Education (DOE).

The Roadmap with ACE: Learn about the Self-Determination Program for People that Receive Regional Center Services
The Self-Determination Program gives you more choice and control over the services and supports you receive through the Regional Center. You and your family decide what services will help you reach your goals in your Individual Program Plan (IPP). You also manage your own individual budget with help from a Financial Management Service (FMS), which pays your service providers and helps track your spending.
