La Ruta Con ACE: Servicios de recreación social a través de los Centros Regionales
Esta capacitación le ayudará a comprender cómo los servicios de recreación social del Centro Regional puede apoyarle a usted o a su ser querido con discapacidades del desarrollo. La recreación social incluye actividades divertidas y comunitarias como campamentos, deportes, clases de arte y más. Estas actividades ayudan a hacer amistades, mejorar las habilidades sociales y promover la inclusión en la comunidad. Bajo la Ley Lanterman, los Centros Regionales ahora pueden pagar estos servicios si son necesarios y no hay otras opciones disponibles.

This training will help you understand your right to appeal decisions made by your Regional Center—especially if you’ve been denied services, had services reduced, or were found ineligible. The Fair Hearing process is how you can formally challenge those decisions. While the system can feel confusing and overwhelming, this training will break it down step by step.
