Habitability and the Right to Safe Living Conditions
Have you had a repair or pest issue that a landlord just would not fix? Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to get your questions answered in a one-on-one consultation.
Know Your Rights: Support Animals in Housing

Join DRC’s Equal Access and Housing Practice Group as we discuss Californians’ rights to have assistance animals in their homes because of their disabilities.
Eviction Notices in California
Are you a renter with a disability in California and have questions about evictions? Learn about your rights in this workshop, which will cover eviction notice requirements, what to do if you receive an eviction notice, and tips for resolving or even preventing these issues.
Reasonable Accommodations in Housing Workshop
Tenants with disabilities have strong housing rights and there are specific rules that housing providers must follow to accommodate them. Join us to learn about your right to ask for a “reasonable accommodation” or “reasonable modification” – adjustments to rules, policies, services, and even the physical layout of your home to make it more accessible for you. We will review best practices, discuss potential costs, and go over what to expect once you have made your requests.
