These principles describe DRC's philosophy that a person has a right to determine their own life. We believe people can make their own decisions, even when the decisions are not ones others would make. We want people to have technology so they can lead quality lives in the community.

Electronic Visit Verification (EVV)- Update February 2023

Beginning July 1, 2023, providers must check in and out at the beginning and ending of each shift in real time. Providers will have three ways to check-in: (1) via smartphone using a mobile application, (2) online using the Electronic Services Portal, or (3) through a landline phone using the Telephone Timesheet System. Live-in providers are exempt from this requirement.

BACKGROUND

Assistive technology devices are items, pieces of equipment, software or systems that are used to increase, maintain, or improve capabilities of people with disabilities. This includes adaptations to existing equipment and services.
