About the webinar:

There is a lot to learn about life after high school! Unfortunately, one of the first lessons that students with disabilities often learn the hard way is that disability rights in K-12 are different in post-secondary education. This webinar will give you an overview of your rights to an accessible learning environment in higher education, with an in-depth focus on reasonable accommodations. It will also give you self-advocacy tips, resources, and a Q&A session with a DRC attorney. This webinar is co-hosted by the Asian Americans with Disabilities Initiative and designed for new college students but is open to everyone.

Speakers:

Zeenat Hassan, Staff Attorney II, Civil Rights Practice Group
