Disability Rights California would like to understand the impact of law enforcement on the disability community. The goal of this survey is to gather valuable information that will help guide our initiatives, advocacy, and priorities moving forward. Sometimes people experience a mental health crisis and the police or other authority takes them to a hospital for emergency care. They are placed on a 72 hour hold called a 5150. Have you been put on a 5150 hold after interacting with the police?
