About the webinar:

This summer, two sets of policies were passed that will cause changes to Medicaid over the next several years. The California state legislature passed changes in the 2025 state budget, and the federal government passed changes in House Resolution 1. Members of DRC’s Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Practice Group and the Health and Home and Community-Based Services (H/HCBS) Practice Group will give an overview of how each of those policies will impact people with disabilities.

The presentation will discuss these policy changes chronologically, including who will be affected by each change and why the change is occurring. We will wrap up the webinar by sharing information about how you can get involved.

In this webinar, you will learn about:

  • Work requirements
  • Changes to eligibility for immigrant groups
  • Copays and premiums
  • Asset limit reinstatements
Reasonable Accommodations: ASL and Spanish Interpreting provided for this event.
