If you are a DRC client and need to file a Grievance about DRC

If you asked Disability Rights California to represent you and we said no.

  • The supervisor will review your grievance and send you a written decision in 15 days.
  • If you are unhappy with the supervisor’s decision, you can appeal to the Executive Director. You have 30 days to do that. The Executive Director will then review your appeal and give you a written decision in 30 days.
  • If you are not happy with the Executive Director’s decision, you can appeal to DRC’s Board Grievance Committee. You have 30 days to do that. They will review your appeal and give you a written decision in 30 days.
  • If during any of these steps we need more time, we will let you know
