About the webinar:

Join DRC’s Housing Stability Project for an explanation of the legal requirements for eviction notices in California. This workshop focuses on the pre-unlawful detainer notice and will not address unlawful detainer litigation.

During the workshop, you’ll learn:

  • What information must be in the notice
  • How a notice should be served
  • Ways a tenant can respond
  • Strategies for resolving and hopefully even avoiding an eviction notice.

Speakers:

Tiffany Hickey, Staff Attorney with the Housing Stability Project (HSP) - Tiffany is an attorney specializing in housing law and committed to empowering marginalized communities, including low-income tenants, tenants with limited English proficiency, and people with disabilities. Currently a Staff Attorney II at Disability Rights California, she focuses on advocating for clients' rights, educating and empowering tenants, and promoting housing equity. Previously, Tiffany worked at the Asian Law Caucus, where she defended tenants against eviction and coordinated housing policy advocacy.
