I am the Director of the Office of Clients’ Rights Advocacy.  I have been with OCRA for over ten years, working as a supervisor and as the Clients’ Rights Advocate for clients of both Harbor Regional Center and North Los Angeles County Regional Center.   I have represented clients in a variety of matters including public benefits, education, regional center, and discrimination cases.  I also provided community trainings and worked on many committees.  Obtaining services and supports for children and youth in foster care and those recently adopted has always been an area of interest for me.   

Prior to practicing law, I was a special education and early intervention teacher.  I was also an in home behavior therapist for children with Autism.

Playing with my dog, Femke, helps me to unwind after some of the challenging days at the office.
