Property Tax Postponement-Assistance with 2019-2020 Property Taxes

California State Controller’s Property Tax Postponement (PTP) Program allows homeowners who are seniors, are blind, or have a disability to apply to defer current-year property taxes on their principal residence.

Requirements:

The applicant must meet certain criteria, some of which include to: have 40% equity in the home, and an annual household income of $35,500 or less.

Own the home and occupy it as their primary residence, and meet several other requirements.
