Elizabeth is a parent and a dedicated advocate. She is committed to working tirelessly to impact change within underserved communities through advocacy, training, and empowerment.
She is a recent graduate of the California Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (CA-LEND) Program at USC University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) as well as a graduate of the West Side Regional Center Partners in Policymaking Team of Advocates. Elizabeth is also a member of the Local Advisory Committee on Self Determination for Westside Regional Center and an Ambassador for Disability Voices United.
Her advocating efforts are most recently through her company, Mindwalk LLC, and as the founder of the Community Outreach Integrators/Integradoras Program addressing disparities within the California regional center system.
She was also instrumental in creating and co-founding the Integrated Community Collaborative (ICC). A collaboration of Community Groups of Parents and Self-Advocates who help the ID/DD Community through cultural relevance and integration.
Elizabeth received her B.S. from Woodbury University and lives in West Los Angeles with her husband Fernando and their sons, 11-year-old Oscar Antonio, who has Down Syndrome, and 9 year-old Diego Antonio.
