I have attached 2 pieces of information that I think you will find helpful.

  1. information concerning changes that must be implemented recalibrating the share of cost for clients who receive SSD and MediCal. These changes were brought about by the Pettit v. Bonta lawsuit. I have attached both a piece from the Washington Weekly and the memo from Health Services. My understanding is that Board and Care homes will be required to put up a notice for their residents concerning this change.
  2. a news release and fact sheet from HHS concerning the new national regulations concerning patients' personal medical records. These new regs raise the bar for both disclosures to other providers and for unauthorized use.
